The Journey of View Elevated
View Elevated was born from a lifelong passion for adventure, travel, and flight.
One of my earliest memories is boarding a Pan Am 747 in Sydney, Australia, at just seven years old. I can still remember the excitement of stepping onto that enormous aircraft and settling into my seat by the window. As the engines roared to life and the airplane lifted into the sky, I watched the world below grow smaller and smaller. What had once felt familiar suddenly seemed vast, full of possibility, and waiting to be explored.
That journey took me from Sydney to Auckland, onward to Honolulu, and finally to Los Angeles. But the real destination was something far more important. Somewhere along the way, a spark was lit. For the first time, I realized how big the world truly was and how much of it there was to discover.
That feeling never left me.
Over the next four decades, I chased experiences across oceans, mountains, deserts, cities, and countries. I learned that the most meaningful moments in life rarely happen inside our comfort zones. They happen when we take the trip, sail that ocean, climb the mountain, start the business, learn the skill, or pursue the dream that calls to us.
More than 45 years after that first flight, that same passion eventually led me to the cockpit myself. Becoming a pilot wasn't just about learning to fly—it was about seeing the world from a completely different perspective.
From above, boundaries disappear. Problems seem smaller. Possibilities seem larger. You gain a renewed appreciation for just how extraordinary this world really is.
That perspective became the inspiration for View Elevated.
